The Support You Need
Pregnancy & Birth Support
Whether 8 weeks or 38 weeks pregnant, expecting your first or your fifth child, the prenatal period is a time of questions and preparation. We’re here for you. We offer private and group childbirth education classes, child-development & newborn care consultations and prenatal lactation support—all tailored to exactly what you need, and when. Our team of compassionate, deeply experienced birth doulas offer around-the-clock care and judgment-free, unwavering support.
Welcoming a new baby into your family is a tender and joyous time. But it can also be marked by stress, serious sleep-deprivation and a sense of overwhelm. Our postpartum doulas help ease the transition—and our careful matchmaking means total peace of mind while you catch up on sleep, ask questions about postpartum healing or infant care, get help with feeding challenges, or simply bond with your baby while someone else lends a hand in household management.
Parenthood isn’t limited to infancy, and community can’t happen in a vacuum. We feel those truths deeply, which is why we’ve created a robust calendar of community-centric events and playgroups to help parents forge new friendships, access the support and resources they need, and fill up their cups (both literally and figuratively!) in a cozy, relaxed space. Drop in once or weekly. We can’t wait to see you. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates on events and activities.
Compassionate. Collaborative. Caring. While no two birth and parenting journeys are identical, we believe that every journey is made better by finding and building a supportive community.
When you become part of the Third Coast Birth & Baby community, you become part of an expansive and comprehensive group. Our team has meaningful relationships with Chicago-area midwives, OB/gyns and hospitals; holistic wellness providers; mental health experts; lactation consultants; and educational resources. And whether we’re providing direct support or making a trust recommendation, our team aims to balance evidence-based information with nuanced emotional support. It’s been said that it takes a village to raise a mother. Find your village here.
