Practicing Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Workshop

Learn the components of mindfulness, or being present and aware of your thoughts, feelings, and emotions in the present moment. When you’re present, you can bring in greater acceptance, openness and curiosity with what you’re experiencing along with less reactivity so you find more flow. You can also learn to extend the warmth, kindness and love inward and this is self-compassion. It helps you move through hard things more easily, with grace. It’s natural and within all of us, yet we can be very hard on ourselves and close this love off at times. Join as Lindsay breaks this down and provides tools for practice as well as closing with a calming meditation.

Stressing Less + Appreciating More Workshop 

How do you focus on what’s going right and stay in an appreciative frame of mind – when life at home seems especially difficult? Join Lindsay as she shares a proven 3-step method for taking your ‘brain to the gym’ so you can enjoy the present more with a lasting joy that transcends the natural ups and downs, turn expectation into appreciation, and make your days more meaningful. She will also guide you in a visualization so you can imagine your ideal for love, work, and family life, which you may have lost sight of. She’ll provide tools that can help you take action in alignment so have clear steps for how you can carry out these lessons and experiencing and appreciating more. She’ll close with calming heart-centered, guided meditation that will help you begin or extend your current meditation practice.

Workshops are led by Lindsay Ambrose, postpartum doula, and can be purchased together or separately.

Cost: $25 per household or $40 for both. Zoom link will be emailed within 48 hours prior to the class(es) for which you’ve registered.
